The Cringe is a creative collaboration of authors, musicians, thinkers and artists experimenting with original work and exploring the universal influence of art on culture; past, present, and emergent.
The Cringe was established by four writers who met through HARDCOPY, a professional development program organised by the ACT WritersCentre and funded by the Australia Council for the Arts, as a way of developing craft and discussing ideas. We seek contributions from new, emerging, and established creative voices. Visit Submissions to find out more.
We believe in diversity. Our goal is to encourage conversation about arts and culture and to promote and support original work. All views expressed are those of the contributing writers and do not necessarily represent the views of The Cringe, its editors, affiliates or employers. The Cringe relies on contributors’ due diligence and accepts no liability for information published on this site.
We aim to produce work of the highest possible standard. Should you detect any errors or wish to raise a concern please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
